Rishabh Pant Reflects on Team Performance
“We recognized that the target was challenging. The bowlers maintained their composure effectively. I’m pleased. We emphasize playing quality cricket, and we’ve demonstrated that at times. There were moments in the tournament where we had opportunities but fell short, which is part of the game,” Pant remarked following the match.
Injury Challenges and Team Dynamics
Pant acknowledged that the team faced difficulties during the season but chose not to focus on injury issues.
“Entering the tournament, we had concerns regarding injuries. We decided not to dwell on it. The entire batting lineup participated, although we struggled a bit in the field. We must avoid making excuses and instead learn from our experiences,” he stated.
Gujarat Titans' Shahrukh Khan Shines
He also commended Shahrukh Khan from Gujarat, who scored 57 runs off 29 balls, bringing the Titans close to the target.
“The key was to dismiss the top three batsmen today, but Shahrukh's performance gives them hope,” he added.

The match featured LSG scoring an impressive 235 runs for 2 wickets, highlighted by a stunning 117 from Mitchell Marsh, along with explosive contributions from Nicholas Pooran and Pant. Despite valiant efforts from Gill, Buttler, and Shahrukh, GT fell short in their chase.
