Liverpool, UK - August 31: The Premier League club has officially announced the acquisition of French striker Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), pending international clearance.

Barcola has committed to a long-term deal with Liverpool after successfully completing his medical examination and finalizing the transfer at the AXA Training Centre. He will don the No. 29 jersey for the Reds, as stated on the Liverpool website.

Expressing his excitement about the transfer, Barcola shared his pride in joining Liverpool and emphasized that winning the Premier League is a significant goal in his career.

“It’s a tremendous honor to play for Liverpool. I’m thrilled. The process took some time, but today I’m genuinely happy to be part of Liverpool. My main desire is to be on the pitch and contribute. I aspire to achieve great things, especially winning the Premier League, which is one of my lifelong dreams. I signed a long contract because I want to stay with this team for the long haul, and I hope to accomplish that,” he stated, as reported by the Liverpool website.

The 23-year-old forward joins Anfield after a successful three-year stint with PSG, where he made 152 appearances, netting 39 goals and assisting 35 times. His time in Paris was marked by significant achievements, including winning consecutive Champions League titles and three Ligue 1 championships.

Barcola began his professional career with Olympique Lyonnais, making his first-team debut in November 2021. He scored seven goals and provided 11 assists in 47 matches for Lyon before transferring to PSG in August 2023.

On the international stage, Barcola made his debut for France in June 2024 and has since earned 28 caps, scoring six goals. Notably, three of those goals were scored during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he played in every match as France secured a fourth-place finish.
