Liverpool Secures Victor Munoz Transfer

Liverpool FC has reached an agreement to bring Victor Munoz from Osasuna, pending the approval of a work permit and international clearance.

The young forward, currently representing Spain in the World Cup, successfully underwent a medical check at the team's training base in Tennessee, USA, and has signed a long-term contract, as reported on the Liverpool website.

Munoz becomes the first signing under new head coach Andoni Iraola and is expected to join his teammates later this summer after completing his World Cup duties.

At just 22 years old, he has already earned two caps for Spain, scoring on his debut against Serbia in March.

His international call-up followed a remarkable season with Osasuna, where he made 34 appearances, netting seven goals and providing five assists across all competitions.

Munoz joined Osasuna last summer from Real Madrid, where he had four appearances after progressing through their youth academy, having previously been part of FC Barcelona's youth setup.

He is set to participate in Spain's upcoming World Cup group-stage match against Saudi Arabia on Sunday in Atlanta.

This transfer marks the second addition to Liverpool's squad for the 2026-27 season, following the earlier acquisition of Jeremy Jacquet.
