Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav is on the verge of a significant milestone, needing just two more wickets to reach 200 in One Day Internationals (ODIs). This achievement has been reached by only nine Indian bowlers, with just four spinners making it into this exclusive club in the 50-over format.

Following his impressive performance that earned him the 'Player of the Match' title for taking four wickets in Thiruvananthapuram, Kuldeep heads into the second ODI against the West Indies in Guwahati with renewed confidence and momentum.

Kuldeep's ODI Statistics

In his ODI career, Kuldeep has claimed 198 wickets across 122 matches, boasting an average of 26.70. His record includes 10 instances of taking four wickets in a match and two five-wicket hauls, with his best bowling figures being 6/25. He currently ranks as India's ninth-highest wicket-taker in ODIs, trailing behind spin legend Anil Kumble, who leads with 334 wickets from 269 matches. Among Indian spinners, only Kumble, Harbhajan Singh (265), and Ravindra Jadeja (232) have surpassed the 200-wicket mark.

This year, however, Kuldeep's performance has been inconsistent, as he has taken only seven wickets in five ODIs, averaging 37.71 with an economy rate of 5.86.
