KTM 390 Adventure X Set for Major Update with New Electronic Features

Upcoming Enhancements for the KTM 390 Adventure
Bajaj is gearing up to enhance the KTM 390 Adventure by incorporating advanced electronic riding aids similar to those found in the fully equipped version of the bike. As a result of this significant update, dealers have halted bookings for the current model, with the revamped 390 Adventure X expected to hit showrooms in the next few weeks.
Introduction of Advanced Electronic Features
The new 390 Adventure X will feature a comprehensive suite of electronic aids akin to the top-tier model. This upgrade will include cornering ABS and traction control, enabled by an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), along with three distinct riding modes: Rain, Street, and Off-road. These modes will adjust throttle sensitivity, power delivery, and the intervention levels of ABS and traction control.
Cruise Control and Mechanical Retention
Additionally, the Adventure 390 will now come equipped with cruise control, a feature that will greatly benefit riders during long journeys. All new generation 390cc KTM models will include cruise control as a standard feature. The bike will maintain its existing mechanical components, including the non-adjustable long-travel suspension and 19/17 inch cast alloy wheels from the previous iteration. The 373 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine will continue to deliver the same performance metrics, producing 46 HP and 39 NM.
Anticipated Price Adjustments Post-Update
Currently, the KTM 390 Adventure X is priced at Rs 2.91 lakh and will be available in two color options: orange and white. With the introduction of these updates, a price increase of approximately Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 is anticipated, which seems reasonable given the enhancements in hardware and software. The updated KTM 390 Adventure X is expected to offer a more comprehensive package.
