KL Rahul Steps Up as Captain
New Delhi: Veteran batsman KL Rahul has been appointed as the captain of the Indian cricket team for the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa, starting November 30.
Rahul's leadership comes after regular captain Shubman Gill was sidelined due to a neck injury sustained during the first Test match against South Africa in Kolkata.
Rishabh Pant will serve as the vice-captain for this series, which includes matches in Ranchi, Raipur (December 3), and Visakhapatnam (December 6).
India's ODI Squad: The team comprises Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Tilak Varma, KL Rahul (C) (wk), Rishabh Pant (wk), Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, and Dhruv Jurel.
