India vs South Africa: Third ODI Toss Results


Visakhapatnam: In a crucial third and final One-Day International, Indian captain KL Rahul won the toss and chose to bowl first against South Africa on Saturday.


India made a strategic change to their lineup, replacing all-rounder Washington Sundar with Tilak Varma after their defeat in the second ODI held in Raipur.


On the other hand, South Africa faced setbacks due to injuries to key players Nandre Burger and Tony de Zorzi, who have been replaced by Ryan Rickelton and Ottneil Baartman.


Both Burger and de Zorzi are sidelined for a few weeks; Burger suffered from right hamstring discomfort during the last match, while de Zorzi experienced similar pain while batting.


The series is currently tied at 1-1, with India winning the first ODI and South Africa leveling the series in Raipur.


This toss win marks a significant moment for the Indian captain, ending a streak of 20 consecutive toss losses.
