The 33-year-old triumphed over the fourth seed Okimoto with scores of 22-20, 15-21, and 21-19, completing the match in one hour and twelve minutes on Saturday. This win sets him up for a final showdown against eighth seed Su Li Yang from Chinese Taipei, who defeated India's Rounak Chouhan in the other semifinal with a score of 21-17, 21-19.
Devika Sihag Bows Out
In the women's singles semifinal, Devika Sihag faced a tough challenge and could not maintain her early momentum after winning the first game against Denmark's second seed Line Christophersen. Ultimately, she lost the match with scores of 15-21, 21-11, and 21-15.

The day was highlighted by Srikanth's performance, where he showcased remarkable composure in the opening game. After Okimoto rallied from an 11-17 deficit to earn a game point, Srikanth managed to save it and won the next two points to take the lead. The Japanese player responded strongly in the second game, forcing a decisive third game. In the final game, Srikanth initially led 10-5, but Okimoto leveled the score at 12-12. Srikanth then surged ahead with six consecutive points, only to see Okimoto fight back to 18-18. Drawing on his experience, Srikanth adjusted his pace effectively to secure the match.
