Kiaan Contractor emerged victorious in the U18 boys singles category at the Sacramento Open, winning the final match in straight games. He defeated Tennessee Potter with scores of 11-7, 11-7, securing the gold medal and a top podium finish. Joshua Hill claimed the bronze medal.

When asked about how his background in badminton contributed to his success in pickleball, Kiaan remarked, “Badminton made me a good sportsman - mentally and physically. The same applied in pickleball.”
He shared his journey, stating, “I loved the game. It was really fun and I started playing casually. But slowly, after one month of playing, I participated in my first Nationals. It was a great experience. After that, I began to take pickleball seriously, training under Dhiren sir, who guided me throughout. Now, after nearly a year of playing pickleball, I am the national champion with three gold medals.”
