KIA has officially introduced the Carens Clavis and commenced the booking process starting May 9. The pricing details for the Clavis are set to be disclosed on May 23. This updated premium variant of the Carens will be available alongside the standard MPV model. Customers can choose between 6-seat and 7-seat configurations, with options for both petrol and diesel engines. The vehicle's redesigned front and rear bumpers enhance its SUV-like appearance.

Design and Interior Features

In addition to the new bumpers and front design, the Clavis features updated 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the vehicle showcases subtle design enhancements, including a dual-screen infotainment system, ambient lighting, and an 8-speaker Bose surround sound system available in the top-tier variants.

Engine Options and Variants

The Carens Clavis will maintain the same engine lineup as its predecessor, featuring a 115hp, 1.5-liter petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Additionally, a 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine will be offered with both 6-speed manual and automatic options, producing 116hp. A 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine will also be available with a 6-speed iMT, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
