The experienced left-arm spinner is included in South Africa's 15-member squad for this prestigious tournament, where he will spearhead the team's spin bowling unit.

At 35 years old, Maharaj has participated in 40 T20 International matches, claiming 38 wickets with an average of 26.50 since his debut against Sri Lanka in Colombo in 2021.
