In a thrilling encounter at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Kashi Rudras clinched a 15-run victory against Gorakhpur Lions in the UP T20 League on Tuesday. This win marked the Rudras' second triumph in three matches, with captain Karan Sharma leading the charge with an impressive unbeaten score of 92.


Sharma's Explosive Innings Sets the Tone

After being asked to bat first, Kashi Rudras set a formidable target of 194 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Although the team faced a middle-order collapse, finding themselves at 88 for 5 by the 10th over, Karan Sharma took charge of the innings. He scored a remarkable 92 runs off just 48 balls, hitting four boundaries and nine sixes, which helped the Rudras finish strong. Sahab Yuvraj Singh also contributed significantly with a quickfire 41 runs off 25 balls.


Gorakhpur Lions Struggle in Chase

In response, Gorakhpur Lions managed to score 179 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. The bowlers from Kashi Rudras maintained consistent pressure throughout the innings, with Vaibhav Chaudhary, Vijay Yadav, and Sunil Kumar each taking two wickets.
