Karnataka's Impressive Performance Against Puducherry

On Wednesday, the defending champions Karnataka maintained their winning momentum in the Vijay Hazare Trophy by defeating Puducherry by 67 runs in a Group A match. Karnataka posted a formidable total of 363 runs for four wickets, thanks to captain Mayank Agarwal's remarkable century of 132 runs off 124 balls, which included 15 fours and 2 sixes, alongside Devdutt Padikkal's impressive 113 runs off 116 balls, featuring 10 fours and 4 sixes. The duo's partnership for the first wicket was a staggering 228 runs.


Karun Nair also contributed significantly with an unbeaten 62 runs off just 34 balls. In response, Puducherry managed to score 296 runs all out in their 50 overs, despite half-centuries from Shyam Kangaiyan (68) and Jayant Yadav (54).


Jharkhand's Victory Over Tamil Nadu

Jharkhand triumphed over Tamil Nadu by nine wickets, propelled by Shubham Kumar Singh's four wickets for 53 runs and a stellar unbeaten 123 runs from opener Utkarsh Singh off 120 balls.
