After years of establishing herself in WWE NXT, Jacy Jayne has achieved significant success independently. Initially perceived as primarily a tag team competitor, she surprised many by becoming the top champion in the women's division, a development that unfolded on a recent episode of the show. This victory has altered the dynamics within her circle of friends.

During the main event on May 28, Jacy Jayne triumphed over Stephanie Vaquer (c) with assistance from her Fatal Influence teammates, Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx, securing the NXT Women’s Championship. This win has shifted the focus onto Jayne, who has now taken the lead in her faction, overshadowing the previous perception of Fallon as the main star.

With her newfound success, Jayne is aware that it brings added pressure and scrutiny, even from her own allies. In a recent appearance on the Buster Open Radio podcast, she acknowledged the growing tension among her friends.

Reflections on Winning the NXT Women's Title

In a candid discussion with the podcast host, Bully Ray, Jayne was asked about the changes in her relationship with Henley and Nyx since her championship victory. She openly admitted that their roles within the group have evolved, stating, “I mean, I think the dynamic has definitely changed. I feel like, for a while, we were kind of focusing on Fallon, and I was playing the backseat role. And now, we’ve kind of switched positions, where I feel like I’m now the leader, and you guys do what I want and do what I say until I fail us.”

When questioned about how Fallon might perceive this shift, Jayne responded honestly, “I’m sure she’s jealous, because I would be jealous too.”

Previously, Jayne had supported Gigi Dolin during Mandy Rose's lengthy reign as WWE NXT Women’s Champion. Earlier this year, she took on a similar role after Henley’s unsuccessful attempt to capture the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

In a notable match, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Fallon Henley to claim the North American title at WWE NXT Vengeance Day. Subsequently, Jayne avenged Henley by dethroning Vaquer for the title before her transition to Raw.
