London [UK], September 2: Jack Grealish has officially rejoined Everton on loan from Manchester City for the entire 2026/27 season, as confirmed by the club on Tuesday.
This marks Grealish's second loan stint with Everton, following his previous season in 2025-26, during which he secured three Premier League titles, an FA Cup, and a UEFA Champions League title under the guidance of manager Pep Guardiola.
Everton's announcement stated, “Jack Grealish has returned to Everton on loan from Manchester City for the remainder of the 2026/27 season. The 30-year-old forward, who has 39 caps for England and is a multiple trophy winner with City, quickly became a fan favorite on Merseyside last season, enjoying a successful loan period with the Toffees.”
“After winning the Premier League Player of the Month award in August, Grealish made 20 league appearances for Everton, scoring two goals and providing six assists, before a foot injury in February curtailed his season,” the club added.
Now fully recovered and ready for the new season, Grealish joins manager David Moyes' squad as the sixth summer signing, following Hayden Hackney, Tyrique George, Christian Nørgaard, and Brennan Johnson.
In an interview with evertontv, Grealish expressed his excitement, stating, “It feels so good. I’m so happy. I think I perform best in all aspects of life, not just football, when I feel loved. That’s what the manager, my teammates, and especially the fans have given me.”
He added, “Every time I meet an Everton fan, it’s just pure love. The way they welcomed me since my first game against Leeds is unforgettable. It means a lot to me, and I hope I’ve made some Everton fans happy.”
Reflecting on his time at the club, he said, “I had a fantastic first six months, and even after my injury, I stayed around. I’ve been watching all the Everton games during pre-season and since the season began. Now, I feel ready to go. I’m eager to start training tomorrow and prepare for the upcoming matches.”
Grealish, a technically skilled and seasoned forward, has made 211 appearances in the Premier League throughout his career, earning 39 caps for England and winning numerous trophies since his transfer from Aston Villa to Manchester City in 2021.
