Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 11: The highly anticipated opening ceremony of the UP T20 League Season 4 will be headlined by the renowned musical artist Shankar Mahadevan alongside popular Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas.
This spectacular event is scheduled for August 14, 2026, at the prestigious Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, marking the beginning of a thrilling 24-day cricket festival throughout Uttar Pradesh, as stated in a press release from the UPT20 League.
Uniting the realms of iconic Indian music and modern chart-toppers, both performers are expected to deliver an unforgettable experience with their dynamic performances and powerful songs.

Hosted by Jatin Sapru, the evening will feature a diverse mix of classical melodies, modern hits, and innovative visual presentations.
Shankar Mahadevan will be joined on stage by Siddharth Mahadevan and Shivam Mahadevan, delivering a performance that balances soulful tunes with energetic beats. The night will also include an impressive drone show, live narration, and a stunning fireworks display to illuminate the skies over Lucknow.
Following the grand opening ceremony, the competitive spirit will ignite with the first match of Season 4, where the defending champions Kashi Rudras will face off against the Meerut Mavericks.
The initial phase of the tournament will take place in Lucknow until August 26, before moving to Green Park Stadium in Kanpur for the second phase and culminating in the grand finale on September 6.
