Sunrisers Hyderabad Prepares for IPL Clash Against Lucknow Super Giants
Match Day Preparations at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], April 3: The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are gearing up to face the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 10th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 this Sunday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Jeevan Reddy, the Secretary of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), confirmed on Friday that extensive measures have been implemented to ensure a seamless and secure experience for fans attending the match.
In a statement, Reddy mentioned that the HCA is collaborating closely with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the management of Sunrisers Hyderabad, and local law enforcement to manage all operational and security protocols effectively.
“We are in constant communication with both the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the BCCI, along with the local police. The police commissioner’s office is actively overseeing the arrangements and ensuring security for both stadium activities and public movement,” he explained.
Reddy also noted that the stadium can accommodate around 36,000 spectators, and ticket distribution is being meticulously monitored to ensure that genuine fans have access.
“With a seating capacity close to 36,000, we are regulating ticketing activities to ensure they are primarily available to the public and not misappropriated by third parties. The police are also supervising this process,” he added.
Regarding ticket sales, Reddy highlighted that tickets are predominantly sold online, emphasizing digital access to prevent fraudulent activities.
“Tickets are mainly available online, and printed tickets will not be accepted. Entry will be through mobile-based barcode tickets to mitigate fraud and enhance transparency,” he stated.
He urged fans to be vigilant and avoid scams or unauthorized sellers.
“I urge cricket enthusiasts not to trust misleading information or send money to unknown individuals claiming to sell tickets. We do not sell tickets through third parties. Please utilize official platforms like the District app for ticket purchases,” Reddy cautioned.
Reaffirming the association’s dedication to transparency and fan safety, he concluded, “All arrangements are being made to ensure a smooth and transparent process. Fans should disregard rumors and enjoy the match responsibly.”
The Sunrisers Hyderabad are arriving at the Uppal stadium following a victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders by 65 runs at Eden Gardens.
