Gujarat Titans Gear Up for IPL 2026

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], March 16: Shubman Gill has officially joined the Gujarat Titans as they gear up for the IPL 2026 season.


With the initial phase of the schedule now released, the Titans will kick off their season with an away match against the Punjab Kings in Mullanpur on March 31, as per the franchise's announcement.


Following this, the team will return to their home ground in Ahmedabad to take on the Rajasthan Royals on April 4 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Additionally, they have two more away games lined up against the Delhi Capitals on April 8 and the Lucknow Super Giants on April 12.


The Gujarat Titans have established themselves as a formidable force in the IPL, having reached the playoffs in three out of their first four seasons and clinching the championship in their debut season in 2022.


The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that the IPL 2026 will run from March 28 to April 12, 2026.


The 19th edition of this premier T20 league will commence with the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), facing off against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Matches will be held across ten venues, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Guwahati, New Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad.


In the previous season, the Titans achieved nine victories, suffered four defeats, and had one match that ended without a result. Under Gill's captaincy, the team aims to secure their second title in the upcoming 2026 season.
