"I am at a loss for words; it was an incredible performance. Trust is essential, and when you have faith in a player, they can achieve remarkable things. Each match like this reveals that something special is developing within the team. We prefer not to elaborate too much, but there’s definitely something brewing," Pant remarked during the post-match presentation, referring to Mukul's outstanding unbeaten innings.
Pant also acknowledged Badoni's significant contribution with a vital half-century, stating, "He has taken on a senior role in our squad. This is the kind of performance we expect from him in critical situations."
The LSG captain further praised veteran bowler Mohammed Shami for his invaluable experience. "Although he may not be getting younger, the expertise he brings to our team is priceless. Having him around is fantastic, and our entire bowling unit is performing exceptionally well," Pant noted.
In a thrilling finish, Lucknow Super Giants successfully chased down a target of 182 runs, winning by three wickets in the final moments of the match. Both Ayush Badoni and Mukul Choudhary scored half-centuries, with Choudhary's explosive batting sealing the victory in the last over.
