After a disappointing loss to Rajasthan Royals, RCB made a strong comeback with a decisive victory over Mumbai Indians last Sunday. Meanwhile, LSG's two-match winning streak was halted at home by a formidable Gujarat Titans team.

Patidar explained his decision, stating, “We will bowl first. The pitch looks good, and we want to take advantage by putting them under pressure. There’s no grass on the surface, and everyone is performing well at different stages. We have made one change: Hazlewood comes in for Duffy.”
