Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], March 3: The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the reigning champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), are gearing up to play five of their home matches at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium during the 2026 IPL season.
This exciting news follows extensive efforts and collaboration among various authorities aimed at ensuring the return of matches to their home ground for the fans, as stated by RCB.
The remaining two matches of their IPL 2026 season will take place at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur, as previously arranged.
RCB expressed heartfelt thanks to the Government of Karnataka, the Karnataka State Cricket Association, and the Karnataka Police for their steadfast support and cooperation in making the hosting of matches in Bengaluru a reality. Their joint efforts to enhance infrastructure and safety protocols ahead of the IPL season have allowed the champions to play most of their home games at their beloved venue.
