In a thrilling encounter at the Narendra Modi Stadium, leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi played a pivotal role in the Rajasthan Royals' (RR) narrow six-run victory over the Gujarat Titans (GT) during the IPL 2026 match. After being named Player of the Match, Bishnoi attributed his success to thorough preparation and the team's collective effort.

Bishnoi, who was brought in as an Impact Player, dismantled the GT middle order, achieving impressive bowling figures of 4 wickets for 41 runs in just 4 overs. He took down key players including opener Sai Sudharshan, Glenn Phillips, Washington Sundar, and Rahul Tewatia, significantly weakening GT's batting lineup.

Reflecting on his performance, Bishnoi shared in the post-match presentation, "Last season was challenging for me. I focused on improving my length, and if I miss it, I accept the consequences. The 2008 champions displayed composure to clinch a thrilling win against the Gujarat Titans. Despite a strong performance from GT's Sai Sudharsan and a late push from Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada, Bishnoi's four-wicket haul was crucial.

The match concluded dramatically, with GT needing 11 runs in the final over. However, RR's Tushar Deshpande maintained his composure, conceding only four runs and claiming the wicket of Rashid Khan, who scored 24 runs off 16 balls, while Rabada remained unbeaten at 23 off 16 balls.
