Odisha FC Claims Victory in a Thrilling Encounter
New Delhi [India], May 8: In a gripping match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Odisha FC emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Sporting Club Delhi during their Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 matchup on Friday.
Odisha FC took an early lead with goals from Suhair VP and K Lalrinfela (Mafela) in the first half, while Matija Babovic's penalty for SC Delhi in the second half only served as a consolation. The match kicked off with Odisha FC catching SC Delhi off guard. Just four minutes in, Suhair VP scored the opener with a header from a perfect cross by Sanathoi Singh Heikrujam, putting Odisha FC ahead 1-0.
