His leadership was further highlighted in the 2025 season when he stepped up for the Meerut Mavericks, leading the team to the finals in the absence of Rinku Singh. The Mavericks finished as runners-up to Kashi Rudras, marking their third consecutive final appearance.

In addition to his T20 success, Madhav has proven to be a reliable top-order batsman in first-class cricket for Uttar Pradesh. He has participated in 28 first-class matches, scoring 1,441 runs in 41 innings at an average of 37.92, including four centuries and five fifties. His highest score of 185 not out came against Nagaland during the 2025-26 season.

In the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy, he scored 351 runs in eight innings, averaging 50.14, and finished as Uttar Pradesh's top run-scorer, highlighted by his career-best 185. His red-ball performances also included a century against Karnataka in the previous Ranji season.

Madhav has been a consistent member of Uttar Pradesh's List A squad, with a notable achievement in the 2021 Vijay Hazare Trophy final, where he scored an unbeaten 158 against Mumbai, marking the highest individual score in a Vijay Hazare Trophy final.

In 2019, he was selected for the India Under-23 squad for a five-match one-day series against Bangladesh Under-23, alongside notable players like Priyam Garg and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

As the UP T20 League kicks off on August 14, the Noida Kings are looking to Madhav Kaushik's batting prowess and leadership to make a significant impact this season.
