Lucknow Super Giants' Spiritual Visit to Ayodhya

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) - On Saturday, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), an Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, made a significant visit to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple to offer their prayers as they prepare for the upcoming 2026 season.

The team, led by Rishabh Pant, had the unique opportunity to view the 'Shri Ram Yantra', a sacred geometric symbol, for the first time since its consecration.

With great respect, the players sought the darshan of Shri Ram Lala, the infant form of Lord Ram, along with the family deities associated with him.

As reported by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Communication Centre, Rishabh Pant took a moment to meditate in solitude for about five minutes.

Rajnish Sharma, who facilitated the darshan, mentioned that the group included twenty players, IPL team owner Sanjiv Goenka, Rishabh Pant, and fast bowler Mayank Yadav, all of whom prayed to Lord Shri Ram.

The players also participated in the Bhog Aarti, a ritual involving food offerings and prayers. After their visit, the delegation returned directly to the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

Post-visit, Goenka expressed, “Offering prayers to Lord Ram is never enough. With the IPL season approaching, all players prayed here. With Lord Ram’s blessings, everything will align perfectly.”

This visit was part of the team's pre-season activities aimed at seeking divine blessings before the prestigious tournament. Goenka and Pant were joined by select members of the LSG management during this spiritual engagement.
