Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) [India], April 9 – In a thrilling encounter at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur FC managed to secure a 1-1 draw against Mumbai City FC, thanks to a late equalizer from substitute Sarthak Goloui. This match, part of the Indian Super League 2025-26, saw Brandon Fernandes score for Mumbai in the first half.

The match kicked off with both teams displaying aggressive attacking strategies. Mumbai City initiated the first attack in the fourth minute through right winger Vikram Partap Singh, while Jamshedpur responded with several offensive plays led by left winger Mohammed Sanan, striker Raphael Messi Bouli, and Ritwik Kumar Das.

As the first half progressed, Mumbai City began to dominate the attacking play. From a corner taken by Stojanovic, the ball reached the far post where Sarthak Goloui rose to meet it, directing a header that hit the underside of the crossbar and crossed the line, igniting jubilation among the home fans as Jamshedpur leveled the score at 1-1.
