KL Rahul's Impressive Form Ahead of RCB Match

New Delhi [India] - April 27: Following his remarkable innings of 152* against Punjab Kings (PBKS), Delhi Capitals (DC) opener KL Rahul is set to face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Monday, looking to maintain his exceptional form.

In his last match, KL scored an impressive 152* off just 67 deliveries, making him the third player in IPL history to reach the 150-run milestone and the first Indian to achieve this feat.

He also set a record for the highest individual score by an Indian in men's T20 cricket. Additionally, he broke multiple records, including the franchise's fastest century, which he achieved in just 47 balls, and surpassed Rishabh Pant's previous record of 128* against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018.

KL Rahul has a strong track record against RCB, having played for the franchise in 2013 and 2016. In 19 matches and 18 innings, he has amassed 839 runs at an impressive average of 69.91 and a strike rate of 145.65, including one century and five fifties, with a top score of 132*.

This season, KL is more determined than ever, positioning himself as a serious contender for the wicketkeeper-batter role in India's T20I squad for the upcoming 2028 T20 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, where he has prior experience. So far, he has scored 357 runs in seven innings, averaging 59.50 with a strike rate of 187.89, including one century and two fifties.
