KKR's Disappointing Defeat

If KKR wins their remaining matches against Gujarat Titans (GT), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Delhi Capitals (DC), they could finish with 15 points. This total might be sufficient for a playoff spot, provided that Punjab Kings, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Rajasthan Royals (RR) do not exceed 14 points.

Virat Kohli's Century Leads RCB to Victory
The match in Raipur was interrupted by rain, causing a 75-minute delay, but no overs were lost. RCB won the toss and opted to field first, putting KKR under pressure early on as they lost both openers, Finn Allen and Ajinkya Rahane, during the powerplay.
Despite the rocky start, KKR managed to stabilize their innings with a solid 68-run partnership for the third wicket between Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green. After Green scored 32, Rinku Singh joined Raghuvanshi, and they added 76 runs for the fourth wicket, with Rinku finishing not out on 49. Raghuvanshi was the standout performer, scoring 71 runs off 46 balls, helping KKR set a competitive total of 192/4.
In response, RCB chased down the target comfortably, with Virat Kohli delivering a stellar performance, scoring 105 runs from 60 balls. He formed a crucial 92-run partnership for the second wicket with Devdutt Padikkal. RCB secured a 6-wicket victory, moving to the top of the IPL 2026 points table with 16 points, effectively securing their playoff position.
