At just 21 years old, cricketer Krish Bhagat from Jalandhar has reached a remarkable milestone by joining the Mumbai Indians, a moment of great pride for both his family and the local sports community.

Krish's cricketing adventure began at the tender age of six, where he honed his skills on local pitches and progressed through school and club competitions. His unwavering commitment and consistent performances enabled him to ascend the ranks, ultimately making a name for himself at the state level and showcasing his talent in the Ranji Trophy.

Coming from a family with a business background, Krish is the first to carve a path in sports. His father, Ashwani Bhagat, expressed that the family never anticipated reaching such heights. He acknowledged Krish’s mother for her early encouragement in sports, noting that they were simply pleased to see him involved in a constructive activity, without any expectations of such success.

However, Krish's path was not without obstacles. He encountered a significant hurdle when he was selected for an Under-19 World Cup training camp but unfortunately sustained an injury that prevented him from participating. This setback was disheartening, yet he demonstrated remarkable resilience and continued to strive towards his aspirations.

Prior to his selection for the Mumbai Indians, Krish had also served as a net bowler for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
