From the very first ball, Raghuvanshi played an aggressive brand of cricket and complimented his batting partner Sunil Narine very well, who came out all guns blazing and scored a brilliant half-century. It never seemed that Raghuvanshi was new to the scene and played some sensational shots, including a humiliating reverse swat, en route to his half-century. He achieved this feat with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes in 25 balls.
When the youngster completed his fifty, Shah Rukh Khan along with the entire stadium was on their feet to applaud the youngster. The Badshah of Bollywood was also seen giving thumbs up after clapping. Angkrish Raghuvanshi was finally dismissed by Enrique Nortje in the 14th over. Speaking during the mid-innings break after his innings, Angkrish Raghuvanshi said he was just reacting to every ball he faced with his shots. He also revealed that he has been putting hard yards in the net over the past few weeks. He also emphasized on bowling well in the second innings, which KKR certainly did to hammer the Rishabh Pant-led team and become the top-ranked team in IPL 2024. Raghuvanshi elaborated: “I just wanted to see the ball and react. I worked on the net for the past few weeks, only Sunil enjoyed playing. After watching the SRH match, there is no winning score, we have to bowl well. Bowl in the right channels and force them to make mistakes." The 18-year-old produced a performance in his first innings that impressed veteran commentator Harsh Bhogle as he heaped praise on the batsman for being classy and confident on his X account.
