SRH's Remarkable Batting Feat

In a stunning display of batting prowess, Abhishek Sharma, Heinrich Klaasen, and Ishan Kishan have made history by becoming the second trio from a single team to score over 500 runs each in a single Indian Premier League (IPL) season. This remarkable achievement was accomplished while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) against the reigning champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

Abhishek kicked off the match with an explosive 56 runs off just 22 balls, featuring four boundaries and five sixes, achieving a strike rate of 254.55. Following him, Kishan contributed significantly with a solid 79 runs from 46 balls, including eight fours and three sixes, while Klaasen added 51 runs off 24 balls, hitting two sixes. Together, they propelled SRH to a formidable total of 255 runs for 4 wickets in their 20 overs.

Klaasen stands out as SRH's leading run-scorer, ranking third overall in the league with 606 runs across 14 matches, boasting an impressive average of 50.50 and a strike rate of 159.47, including six half-centuries. His highest score this season is 69.

Ishan Kishan follows closely, positioned fifth with 569 runs in 14 innings, averaging 40.64 and maintaining a strike rate exceeding 178, also with six fifties, and a top score of 91.

Abhishek Sharma ranks sixth, having amassed 563 runs in 14 innings at an average of 43.30 and a remarkable strike rate of 206.22, which includes a century and four fifties, with his best score being an unbeaten 135.

This trio joins the elite ranks of another batting trio from Gujarat Titans (GT) consisting of skipper Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, and Jos Buttler, who achieved similar success in the 2025 season.
