After facing a defeat against the Delhi Capitals (DC), MI is looking to recover, while the team led by Riyan Parag aims to secure their third consecutive victory.
Yashasvi Jaiswal is on the verge of hitting a significant milestone, needing just four more sixes to reach a total of 100 in the IPL. Over 69 matches and 68 innings, he has accumulated 2,259 runs with an impressive average of 35.29 and a strike rate of 151.71, including two centuries and 16 fifties, along with 96 sixes. If he achieves this, he will join the ranks of Sanju Samson (197), Jos Buttler (135), and Shane Watson (114) as the fourth player from the franchise to reach this milestone.
Additionally, the legendary all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is just eight runs shy of reaching 4,000 runs in T20 cricket. He would become the second Indian, following Hardik Pandya, to achieve the remarkable feat of 4,000 runs and 200 wickets in T20s. Currently, he has scored 3,992 runs in 348 T20 matches and 253 innings, with an average of 26.43 and a strike rate of 130.75, including five fifties.
Shimron Hetmyer, known for his finishing abilities, is also close to a personal milestone, needing only 27 runs to become the 10th player to reach 1,000 runs for RR. In his 57 matches with the franchise, he has scored 983 runs in 51 innings, averaging 30.71 with a strike rate of 153.11, including three fifties. In IPL 2022, he had his best season, scoring 314 runs in 15 matches at an average of 44.85 and a strike rate of 153.92, featuring one fifty.
