Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 16: In a thrilling display of cricket, the Cricket Association Lucknow triumphed over the Aligarh Sports Association by nine wickets, while DSA Moradabad secured a victory against MDCA Meerut Blue by 16 runs during the 17th Master Vaibhav T20 Championship held at Gandhi Bagh Cricket Stadium, as reported in a press release.

Yudhvir Singh, the Director of the Meerut District Cricket Association, commended the exciting matches, emphasizing Lucknow's impressive bowling and DSA Moradabad's resilience in defending their score. He expressed his admiration for the players' efforts and extended his best wishes for the ongoing tournament.

In the match between Cricket Association Lucknow and Aligarh Sports Association, the latter was dismissed for just 41 runs in 12.1 overs. Lucknow quickly chased down the target, scoring 45 runs for the loss of one wicket in just 3.2 overs. Rohit Dwivedi and Pawan Singh were the standout bowlers for Lucknow, each taking three wickets, while Himanshu Singh remained unbeaten with 28 runs off 11 balls. Rohit Dwivedi earned the Player of the Match title for his bowling performance of 3 wickets for 15 runs.

In another match, DSA Moradabad set a target of 181 runs, thanks to Aryan Chaudhary's impressive 86 runs off 46 balls. They then restricted MDCA Meerut Blue to 165 runs, bowling them out in 18.4 overs. Shivam Sharma and Kushal Yadav were exceptional with the ball, each claiming four wickets, with Kushal conceding only four runs. Despite efforts from Sandeep Tomar and Ankur Malik, MDCA Meerut Blue fell short by 16 runs. Kushal Yadav was recognized as the Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling figures of 4 wickets for 4 runs.
