The Dehradun T20 League 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 2 to September 9 at the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy in Dehradun. This inaugural tournament will consist of 18 matches, including 15 league games, two semi-finals, and a final showdown.

Successful Player Trials Conducted

On July 25, 2026, the official player trials for the Dehradun T20 League were held at Kimtilal Sharma Cricket Ground in Nathuwala, Dehradun, with the approval of the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU).

The trials attracted a remarkable turnout, with 650 players registering for the Player Draft and over 350 cricketers showcasing their skills to the selection panel. Those who were shortlisted will now have the chance to be picked by one of the six franchise teams during the Player Draft.

Tournament Format and Streaming Details

The league promises to deliver 18 thrilling matches, including 15 league encounters, two semi-finals, and the Grand Finale, all of which will be streamed live on FanCode, allowing cricket enthusiasts across the nation to follow Uttarakhand's premier franchise cricket league.

The inaugural edition will feature six franchise teams: Rishikesh Dragons, Doiwala Kings, Mussoorie Thunder, Herbertpur Knightriders, Vikasnagar Dhamaka, and Selaqui Strikers, all vying for the championship title.
