Guwahati (Assam) [India], August 9: In a thrilling encounter at the ACA Stadium, the Dibrugarh Warriors successfully chased down a target of 133 runs, defeating the Jorhat Stallions by six wickets in match 16 of the Assam Premier League (APL) 2026.
Captain Saahil Jain played a pivotal role in the chase, scoring an impressive unbeaten half-century, which guided his team to victory with 14 balls remaining. Earlier, Jitumoni Kalita shone with the ball, taking two wickets and helping to limit the Stallions to 132 runs for the loss of 8 wickets after a solid middle-order performance from Dyutimoy Nath.
