Exciting F1 Sim Racing Event in Delhi

The capital city of New Delhi is gearing up to welcome the F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026 Time Trials, organized by Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited (MFRL). This thrilling event is scheduled to take place from July 30 to August 1, 2026, at the Bharat Mandapam, marking a significant step in India's motorsport scene.

As per the announcement, this initiative aims to uncover India's next Formula 1 star, providing a platform for aspiring racers to showcase their skills in speed, precision, and racing strategy, thus paving their way into the world of professional motorsport. This event represents the first of its kind in Delhi.

While discussions about reviving Formula 1 in India are ongoing, Mumbai Falcons Racing is dedicated to nurturing the future of motorsport talent in the country.

The Delhi Time Trials are part of MFRL's nationwide talent scouting initiative, the F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026, and the 'One in a Billion Hunt-Agla Star'. With over 7 million residents aged between 8 and 25, Delhi is an ideal location to engage and promote the F1 platform. The surrounding NCR region will contribute an additional pool of competitors.

Participants in the F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026 will have the chance to race on high-quality simulators, with a total prize pool of ₹2 crore available. The champion will earn a spot in the One in a Billion Hunt, which features a ₹3 crore Driver Development Fund to assist their transition into professional motorsport.

Ameet Gadhoke, Managing Director of Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited, emphasized the importance of building a robust talent pipeline for India to excel in global motorsport arenas like Formula 1. He stated, “The F1 Sim Racing India Open is designed to foster awareness and talent at the grassroots level. These trials provide aspiring racers with the chance to experience professional F1 simulators and evaluate their potential for a structured motorsport career, progressing through various stages of the championship and eventually stepping into professional karting.”

The competition will utilize F1 25, the official game of the FIA Formula One World Championship, and is accessible on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.

During the Delhi Time Trials, competitors will race on uniform professional-grade simulation rigs using the official game, with successful racers moving on to the Zonal Qualifiers, ultimately aiming for a spot in the National Final in Mumbai.

This championship is part of MFRL's broader F1 India Programme, which includes the One in a Billion Hunt and the Flagship Partner School initiative.
