Exciting Fan Interaction at the Arun Jaitley Stadium
New Delhi [India] - On May 16, the Delhi Capitals organized a memorable Fan Forum with their dedicated fan group, DC Toli, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
As per a press announcement, the event kicked off with vibrant dhol beats, chants, and lively dance performances from the DC Cubs and Tigers. Players including captain Axar Patel, KL Rahul, Tristan Stubbs, Nitish Rana, Lungi Ngidi, and Madhav Tiwari took part in an engaging evening filled with fan interactions. The forum showcased rap performances, fan inquiries, playful exchanges, photo opportunities, and numerous candid moments with the DC Toli.
The players dedicated time to connect with fans, who shared personal anecdotes, messages, poetry, and reflections from the current season. This interaction provided a unique opportunity for fans to bond with the players in a relaxed atmosphere, beyond the usual matchdays.
During the event, Axar Patel expressed gratitude towards the fans for their unwavering support throughout the season. He stated, “We always look forward to our annual Fan Forum with the DC Toli. Regardless of the circumstances, you are always there cheering us on. Your chants and songs lift our spirits when we are down. Thank you for your continuous love and support.”
Nitish Rana also shared his thoughts on the special connection between players and fans. “It feels truly special to be here because I have been a Delhi fan since day one. In the early IPL seasons, I would attend matches at Kotla as a fan. I vividly remember Akshay Kumar’s grand entry on ropes,” Rana reminisced. “Even while playing cricket, I never imagined I would get the chance to play in the IPL. Now, sitting here as a cricketer, I realize that if I weren’t one, I would still be with the DC Toli, as I have always been a Delhi fan, born and raised in Delhi.”
The annual Fan Forum has evolved into a significant event for the Delhi Capitals, enhancing their engagement with supporters. This initiative continues to fortify the bond between the team and the DC family, celebrating the season's journey together.
As for IPL 2026, the Delhi Capitals find themselves on the verge of elimination, holding just 10 points from 12 matches. With two matches remaining in their campaign, they aim to finish strong and build momentum for the next season.
