Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], May 3: Angkrish Raghuvanshi, a key player for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), has showcased exceptional skill against pace bowling in the current Indian Premier League (IPL) season, maintaining a remarkable performance.

Among players who have faced over 100 deliveries from pace bowlers this season, Raghuvanshi boasts an impressive average of 83.5, ranking second in the league, with only two dismissals to his name.

In the ongoing IPL, he has accumulated 268 runs across nine innings, averaging 33.50, which includes three half-centuries. Leading the batting charts is Prabhsimran Singh from Punjab Kings, who has an astonishing average of 267.0.

In a recent match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Raghuvanshi scored a commendable 59 runs off 47 balls, helping KKR secure a decisive seven-wicket victory.

With this win, KKR has climbed to the eighth position in the standings, achieving their third victory while facing five losses and one no result, totaling seven points. Meanwhile, SRH holds the fourth position with six wins and four losses, accumulating 12 points.

During the match, SRH won the toss and chose to bat first. Despite solid contributions from Travis Head (61 runs off 27 balls, including nine fours and three sixes) and Ishan Kishan (42 runs off 29 balls, with four boundaries and two sixes), the team struggled to build on their start. Varun Chakravarthy (3 wickets for 36 runs) and Sunil Narine (2 wickets for 31 runs) quickly dismantled the SRH batting lineup, leading to a collapse from 105/1 to 165 all out.

In response, KKR chased down the target of 166 runs with Finn Allen contributing 29 runs off 13 balls, and an 84-run partnership with captain Ajinkya Rahane (43 runs off 35 balls, featuring three fours and a six) alongside Raghuvanshi's 59, sealing the win with 10 balls to spare.
