IPL Schedule Announced After Delay
Following nearly a week of speculation, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has officially released its schedule for the remaining matches. The league had previously been suspended due to escalating cross-border tensions, leading to the postponement of the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala on May 8, during which players were safely evacuated.
On May 12, the IPL confirmed that the tournament would recommence on May 17 in Bengaluru, where Royal Challengers Bengaluru will compete against Kolkata Knight Riders. Contrary to earlier rumors, the matches will be evenly distributed across six venues. Additionally, two doubleheader days are planned, with the championship match set for June 3. However, the locations for the playoffs and the final have yet to be determined.
