BCCI's Decision on Player Selection
Despite their outstanding performances, the BCCI has overlooked both players and excluded them from the 20-member squad for Team India.
Reasons for Exclusion of Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre
Following the IPL, a four-day match will take place among four teams for the under-25 squad. The BCCI's Chief of Operations will be monitoring these players. According to reports, this tournament will feature 64 of the country's top young cricketers.
Out of these 64 talents, 25 will be selected from the CK Nayudu and under-23 ODI teams. Additionally, the selection committee will choose another 25 players from the Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Among the 64 players that the BCCI will select, 25 will come from the CK Nayudu and under-23 ODI teams, while another 25 will be from the Ranji Trophy, VH T, and SMA T teams. The remaining top 14 players will be selected from the IPL.
As Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre continue to participate in the IPL, they are likely to be included in the final list of 14 players once the IPL concludes.
