Exciting Launch of ILT20 Season 4

The International League T20 (ILT20) is gearing up for its fourth season, which will commence on December 2, 2025, coinciding with UAE National Day (Eid-Al-Etihad). This six-team tournament will feature 34 matches, culminating in the final on January 4, 2026, as announced by ILT20 officials.

This year, the league has shifted from its usual January-February schedule to avoid clashing with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which is set for February-March 2026.

Khalid Al Zarooni, Chairman of ILT20 and Vice-Chairman of the Emirates Cricket Board, expressed excitement about the league's launch on such a significant day for the UAE. He stated, “We are thrilled to kick off the DP World International League T20 Season 4 on UAE National Day, a day of great importance for our nation, which is home to countless cricket enthusiasts.”

David White, CEO of ILT20, emphasized that the tournament's timing is strategic, allowing players to transition smoothly from the league to the World Cup. He noted, “The December-January window is optimal for attracting a larger pool of players, ensuring a competitive tournament.”

Reflecting on the success of Season 3, which featured prominent T20 players and concluded with a thrilling final won by the Dubai Capitals, White is optimistic about elevating the league's profile in Season 4.

Season 3 showcased stars like Nicholas Pooran, Sam Curran, and David Warner, among others, and concluded with a nail-biting final at the Dubai International Stadium on February 9, 2025, where the Dubai Capitals triumphed over the Desert Vipers.
