Ripon Mondol, batting at number 10, hit a massive six on the first delivery. As he returned to his partner Mehidy Hasan, he appeared to exchange glances with Ntuli. It remains unclear if any words were exchanged, but the ensuing events shocked everyone present.

Suddenly, Ntuli charged at Ripon, muttering something before pushing him and grabbing the grill of his helmet. In response, Ripon defended himself by pushing back. Umpires and South African players quickly intervened to prevent the situation from escalating further.

A short video clip of the confrontation, shared by a journalist, has gone viral, showcasing the intensity of the incident. Match officials are expected to file a report, and both Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) are likely to take action following the report's submission.

BCB's Response Pending

This incident is not the first of its kind in this series. Previously, during the ODI matches, South Africa's Andile Simelane and Bangladesh's Jishan Alam faced disciplinary action and were suspended due to a prior altercation.
