India's Upcoming Tour of England: Complete Schedule Revealed for 2026
India's Tour of England in 2026
Next year, Team India is set to return to England, but this time, they will only participate in limited-overs matches. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed the schedule for the upcoming summer tour, which will not include any Test matches.
Currently, India and England are engaged in a five-match Test series, with England leading after three matches. The hosts need just two draws to secure the series, while the Indian team, captained by Shubman Gill, must win both remaining Tests to claim victory.
In the ongoing series, England triumphed in the first Test at Headingley by five wickets. India responded impressively, winning the second Test at Edgbaston by a remarkable 336 runs, marking their first Test victory at that venue. However, in the third Test, despite being in a strong position, India fell short by 22 runs while chasing a target of 193.
