Indian Players Shine at the MCB Ladies Classic Mauritius

A formidable Indian team of four will participate in the first-ever MCB Ladies Classic Mauritius, featuring Diksha Dagar at the forefront, accompanied by Tvesa Malik, Vani Kapoor, and Hitaashee Bakshi, all set to compete at the picturesque Legends Course.

Vani Kapoor brings valuable experience from her recent participation in the IGPL Invitation held at the Anahita Course in Mauritius. In contrast, fellow Ladies European Tour (LET) players Pranavi Urs and Avani Prashanth have chosen to take a break and will not be attending the event.

Tee Times and Pairings

Diksha Dagar, who aims to secure the Women's Indian Open title this season, will kick off her tournament at 7:20 am, playing alongside Alessandra Fanali and Alexandra Forsterling.

Hitaashee Bakshi is set to compete with Lianna Bailey and Gabriella Cowley during the first two rounds.

Tvesa Malik, looking to regain her tour card, will be paired with Lilly May Humphreys and Bobbi Brown, while Vani Kapoor will tee off with Corrine Viden and Chloe Williams in her opening round.

Focus on Esme Hamilton

Attention will also be on England's Esme Hamilton, who recently celebrated her first LET victory at the Investec SA Women's Open. With strong momentum, Hamilton has arrived in Mauritius and is eager to continue her success, currently ranking fourth in the LET Order of Merit.

The tournament will host a competitive lineup of 120 players competing in a 54-hole stroke play format at the Legends Course of Constance Belle Mare Plage, known for its narrow fairways and challenging greens. Hamilton will start her title quest at 7:40 am local time, alongside Agathe Laisne from France and Sweden's Kajsa Arwefjall.
