Exciting Day Ahead for Indian Athletes

On September 22, the Asian Games 2026 will see Olympic medalists Mirabai Chanu and Manu Bhaker leading India's efforts on Day 4. They will be joined by the Indian men's badminton team, which is set to compete against China in the semifinals. A host of Indian athletes are scheduled to participate, creating numerous opportunities for medals.


Manu Bhaker, a double Olympic medalist, will be a highlight in the shooting events, where she will join Suruchi Inder Singh and Esha Singh in the women's 10m air pistol individual qualification and team final, as reported by ESPN.


Weightlifting champion Mirabai Chanu will also be in action, competing in the women's 49kg medal event.


The day's events will kick off at 5:30 AM IST with India facing the Philippines in a men's team regu Group B match in sepaktakraw. Following that, at 5:40 AM IST, Balraj Panwar will participate in the men's single sculls heats in rowing.
