Indian Women's Team Sends Best Wishes to Men's Team Ahead of T20 World Cup

Key players from India's historic ICC Women's World Cup victory last year, including captain Harmanpreet Kaur and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, have shared their encouragement for the men's team as they prepare for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. India is placed in Group A alongside rivals Pakistan, Namibia, the Netherlands, and the USA, kicking off their tournament against the USA in Mumbai on February 7.

Should the Indian team successfully defend their title, they would become the first to do so in T20 World Cup history, achieving their third title and solidifying their status as the most successful team in the tournament.

Deepti Sharma, recognized as the 'Player of the Tournament' in 2025, stated, "Wishing you all the best. This tournament is special as it’s happening at home. Bring the cup home!"

Richa Ghosh, a dynamic wicketkeeper-batter who made significant contributions in the 2025 World Cup, also conveyed her best wishes for the Men's T20 World Cup.
