Indian women's hockey team striker Deepika has been awarded the Poligrass Magic Skill Award for her outstanding field goal against the Netherlands during the FIH Pro League 2024-25 phase held in Bhubaneswar. The winner of this prestigious award was determined through votes from hockey enthusiasts worldwide.

Deepika scored this remarkable goal in February 2025 during the Bhubaneswar leg of the Pro League. The match, held at Kalinga Stadium, ended in a 2-2 draw after regulation time, with India ultimately defeating the Netherlands in a shootout. Deepika's incredible goal came in the 35th minute when the Indian team was trailing by two goals. She skillfully dribbled past the Dutch defense from the left, touched the baseline, and cleverly lifted the ball over a defender's stick, outsmarting the goalkeeper to find the net.
