Athletes Guntas Kaur Sandhu and Rashi Mishra from Roundglass Golf Academy have been chosen to represent India in two esteemed international amateur golf tournaments.

Upcoming Championships

Guntas Kaur Sandhu will compete in the 40th Malaysian Ladies Amateur Championship, taking place in Malaysia from July 28 to 30. Additionally, she will join her teammate Rashi Mishra in the Indian squad for the R&A Girls Amateur Championship, scheduled for August 10 to 15, 2026, in Scotland.

A Season of Achievements

These selections follow a remarkable season for both golfers on the national and international stages. Guntas has made a name for herself as one of India's top young golfing prospects, highlighted by her victory at the IGU West Bengal Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Championship and notable runner-up finishes at the IGU Eastern India Championship. She has also represented India in prestigious events like the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship and the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation Junior Championship.

Similarly, Rashi Mishra has emerged as a promising junior golfer, consistently participating in India's top amateur tournaments and representing the country at the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation Junior Championship earlier this year. Her selection for the R&A Girls Amateur Championship signifies another important step in her international golfing career.
