The highly anticipated five-match Test series between India and England is set to kick off on June 20. Reports indicate that the Australian cricket team faced challenges in securing practice time at Lord's on June 8, as the Indian squad was utilizing the iconic venue for their training sessions. According to a report from a media outlet, while the Indian players conducted their regular practice, the Australians were denied access to the historic ground.

The report further revealed that the Australian team had to travel for three hours to find an alternative training location. There are concerns in Australia that India’s practice sessions are impacting their preparations, especially since the Tendulkar-Anderson trophy is scheduled to begin on June 20, following the conclusion of the WTC final. The first match between India and England is slated for July 10, with the third Test taking place at Lord's.
In a recent statement, a player remarked, “I think this is the best version of the stadium this morning. There’s no one around, which is great. I’m sure it will be much more civil this time around. Things got pretty heated in the middle of that Ashes series, but I think a lot of them will have learned their lesson and I’m sure they’ll be very polite.”
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a brief video on Sunday showcasing Shubman Gill and his teammates practicing at Lord's. The footage included scenes of the team engaging in indoor stretches and football drills before moving outdoors for running and field training. Head coach Gautam Gambhir and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja were observed meticulously analyzing the Duke’s ball alongside other coaching staff.
