India's Dominance in the Championship

India showcased an impressive performance by defeating Sri Lanka 45-24 in the Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship 2026. This victory marked India's sixth consecutive win in the group stage, ensuring they finished unbeaten, as reported in a recent press release.


Pankaj Mohite was the standout player for India, scoring 15 points through raids, while Aditya Shinde added 10 points. Nitesh contributed five points through tackles, and Yogesh Dahiya added four. Overall, India executed 22 successful raids and achieved nine tackle points, along with six points from all-outs, establishing a solid lead over Sri Lanka, who managed to score 24 points.
